OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The object of the present patent application is a fixing device for a part of a vehicle according to claim 1, which incorporates notable innovations and advantages.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

At present, various fixing devices for the parts of a vehicle are known. It is observed that when said type of fixing is to the body, this is usually done with an additional component.

On the other hand, it is known in the state of the art, as reflected in document CN201116562, a fixing element for fixing decorators and vehicle lamps. It is composed of an elastic nut and a fixing unit. The elastic nut 20 is U-shaped. One end of the elastic nut is provided with a locking element, which is extended outwards. The device does not have great mounting versatility, nor does it seem applicable to a multitude of configurations.

It is on the other hand known in the state of the art, as reflected in document US6416125, a mounting device for a headrest support assembly with a backrest frame. The assembly includes components that are injection molded on site on extended flanges of a connector link. It does not seem, however, a generic solution extrapolable to the assembly of various parts on the body of the vehicle. 30

Thus, it is seen that there is still a need to have a fixing device for a part of a vehicle, preferably to the body, in which the provisioning of an additional mounting component by the operator is not necessary, such that Your assembly process is optimized. This would eliminate the action of searching for the additional mounting component, as well as facilitating the operation of placing said element in the bolt or similar element.


DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION 5

The present invention proposes to integrate the fastenings of a main part thereto, preferably through plastic bands. Subsequently, the entire assembly is injected into the same mold in which said main part is manufactured.

In more detail, the main piece is usually an internal finishing piece. Normally, it is a large part whose function is to improve the interior finishes or coatings of the vehicle, hiding areas and / or components of the vehicle so that they are not accessible by the user. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the connecting element is elongated such that its length is greater than a length of the fixing element. In this way, the connecting element provides sufficient clearance, allowing to reorient and comfortably position the fixing element such that it can be inserted and mounted in the place intended for it.

More particularly, the joint element has substantially a shape of a band such that its thickness is substantially less than a width of the joint element. The thickness of the connecting element means the dimension or dimension in the direction of demoulding or opening of the mold from which the main part is obtained. Advantageously, the connecting element and the fixing element are substantially perpendicular to the demoulding direction of the injection mold. DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

In view of the aforementioned figures and, according to the numbering adopted, an example of a preferred embodiment of the invention can be observed therein, which comprises the parts and elements indicated and described in detail below.
Thus, as can be seen in Figures 2, 4 and 6, the fixing device 3 for a part 1 of a vehicle, where the part 1 is made of plastic material, obtained through an injection process, where the part 1 it comprises a main body 2, it comprises a fixing element 31 and a connecting element 32 of said fixing element 31 to the main body 2, wherein the main body 2 and the fixing device 3 are obtained from the same injection process, and where the connecting element 32 is elongated.

More particularly, as seen in Figures 2, 4 and 6, the connecting element 32 is elongated 10 such that its length is greater than a length of the fixing element 31.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, as seen in Figures 3 and 4, the connecting element 32 has substantially a band shape such that its thickness is substantially less than a width of the joining element 32. 15

Thus, an interior part 1 of a vehicle comprising at least one fixing device 3 is shown in FIG. 1. Specifically, it is a footrest of a vehicle that covers the lower lateral area of the vehicle. It should be mentioned that, as can be interpreted from the figures, the injection process 30 comprises a single injection stage in the same injection mold.

More specifically, as seen in Figures 3 and 4, the connecting element 32 and the fixing element 31 are substantially perpendicular to the demoulding direction of the injection mold. With all this, the costs of the production process of the piece 1 are not increased and, on the other hand, the assembly times are reduced considerably, as well as the transport and logistics costs by having a piece 1 that already integrates the at least a fixing means 31. The manufacturing complexity is also reduced, since both the piece 1 and the fixing element 31 are obtained from the same mold, obtaining the whole assembly without additional steps or slides. 5

According to another aspect of the invention, as seen in Figure 1, part 1 is an internal component of the vehicle, where part 1 is seen from the interior of the vehicle.

More specifically, as seen in Figures 3 and 5, the fixing element 31 is a plug. In order to fix the bolts and avoid a relative movement of the part 1 with respect to the body, a fixing element 31 is required as shown in Figure 3.
